About ARDEF
The purpose or purposes for which said corporation (September 28, 1960) is formed are:
To encourage and assist students of music by means of scholarships, grants, loans or other means; to contribute funds to assist educational and charitable activities of all kinds related to the field of music and particularly male choruses; to collect and receive gifts, bequests, monies and donations of every kind and nature, the proceeds of which together with any income received by the corporation, shall be used solely for the charitable and educational purposes herein provided and as shall be determined by the Trustees of this corporation; and to do all things necessary or incident thereto to the same extent and in the same manner as natural persons could or may do, and from the operation of which no one shall enjoy any pecuniary gain or profit, and which shall distribute no pecuniary gain or earnings as dividends or bonuses to its promoters, corporations, donors, contributors, trustees or any person or persons whatsoever.
